When I say that the S&P500 is properly valued, that's exactly what I mean (that valuation is left to the market). I am not going to go into another discussion of CAPM at the risk of displeasing other threaders.

Moon, BGR also figures his correct valuation AFTER it has fallen to that price. The way to make money is to do it before it happens. <g> Unless, of course, you are in the newsletter business.
