Thanks for the article chris. Recently, I spoke with a friend of mine who works for one of the major phone equipment suppliers. We were discussing the future of SONET and he was of the opinion that it will be around for quite some time. I have heard some negative comments relating to VTSS because of their reliance on SONET based ASIC revenues and my friends comments made me feel more confident on the near term outlook for VTSS.

FWIW department,
Michael

the latest on AMCC. hey, let's hope their next product is dubbed "the cuyahoga."

you know, the ohio river that caught on fire ...

and for you REM fans:

"let's put our heads together, start a new country up,
underneath the river bed we burned the river down.
this is where they walked, swam, hunted, danced and sang,
take a picture here, take a souvenir
cuyahoga
cuyahoga, gone"

And for you Randy Newman fans:

"The Cuyahoga River keeps smokin in my dreams

Burn on, big river, burn on
Burn on, big river, burn on

Well the Lord can make you tumble,
The Lord can make you turn,
The Lord can make you overflow...
But the Lord can't make you burn"

We now return you to your regularly scheduled financial programming...
