Meeting is this afternoon central time. Short interest on this stock has been minimal historically and up until early April. I'm not really too savvy about the present though. Surely the recent run-up is partly in anticipation of an ipo for Travelocity. If they do announce it, I think the stock is a hold till $80. If they don't, well, then I'm probably on to other things.
TSG currently has a market capitalization of about $8 billion with only 17% of the company owned by the public. That puts a total market value for SABRE Group at roughly $40 billion. AMR is itself is only $11 billion for crying-out loud. But who cares about fundamentals when they are going to spin-off an ipo for an internut division.
Count me long if they announce, count me long but ready to protect my profits if they don't.
