Good News Robert! V.P. from Ascend and now Speros gets assistant V.P. from Newbridge on the channel marketing. Newbridge revenues for fiscal year 1998 were $1,621 million, up 18%. However during the first quarter results were disappointing. Newbridge had record order intake but were unable to convert the orders to sales. It appears as if Ms Russell's area at Newbridge was doing great. Newbridge just could not handle all the orders! From experience I can tell you how difficult and important it is to establishing the channels without conflict and with inducements to make them work. Looks like another Speros winner. Kris
