Thread from CPQ thread:

Who is Jack Schitt?

The lineage is finally revealed. Many people are at a loss for a
response
when someone says "You don't know Jack Schitt." Now you can
intellectually handle the situation. Jack is the only son of Awe
Schitt
and O. Schitt.
Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of
Kneedeep N. Schitt Inc.

In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt, and the deeply religious
couple produced 6 children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt,

Bull Schitt, and the twins: Deap Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her
parents'
objections, Deap Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out.
After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe
Schitt
later married Mr. Sherlock, and because her kids were living with
them,
she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe
Schitt-Sherlock. Dip Schitt married Lotta Schitt and they produced
a nervous son, Chicken Schitt. Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt
were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married
the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding
announcement
in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding. The
Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse. Bull Schitt,
the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned
from Italy with his new bride, Pisa Schitt.

".if we and you do not routinely employ some reasonable consideration of the whole picture, we create unnecessarily contentious exchanges - and lose credibility as well. "

Contentious exchanges may not be desirable, but in no way detract from credibility. From what I see there is no relationship whatsoever between a person's credibility and their methods. Credibility is supported by facts. Unfortunately what we see is that many people prefer to ignore realities of the oil industry. The credible people demonstrate an understanding of the issues; and aren't hesitant to pointitout. Yet they are still chastised as "lacking credibility" by those who prefer to place their money and their expectations with low -probability outcomes. When one chooses to stick his/her head in the sand, they get comfort but that doesn't change what is happening in their midst.

"I and most others would rather hear more about why you have these relentlessly negative beliefs.."

Ray, you and others choose to use the adjective "negative", not I. I merely discuss the issues and frankly, I don't believe the probabilities of success in this venture is looking very good right now. I have had points of nominal optimism in certain possibilities at different times, but the company has failed to be successful even where the potential seem encouraging. My beliefs are well substantiated --- I just don't feel the need to give credence to others use of he adjective "negative" by responding any further. I believe what I believe -- that simple --- and have years of experience in this industry that influence my beliefs.

Concerns about my negativity are as silly as concerns about Razor's height. They both are merely a "cover up', a defensive reaction for the lack of confidence that others have in their own beliefs IMO.
