I agree, in broader terms many stocks are over-valued based on historical valuation models. The over-valued "basket" is lead by the net stocks with other internet-tech related companies following suit; like CSCO and SUNW. SUNW is wrongly considered an internet company and as a result the price has been run up well above it's value and is over-valued when compared to their immediate competition: IBM, HP, CPQ. I see CPQ and HP being a better value right now.

WRT Shorting, it's not something I like to do; betting that a stock will sink. So in general my investment strategy is too look for mid to long term growth prospects stocks that represent good value.

I'd rather catch SUNW on the upside once it and the market has had a much needed correction.
