Michael, By any measure, DELL's quarter was far from horrible (on a relative as well as absolute basis). True, the margin drop was not exactly a joyous event, nor was the drop in the multiple of industry growth rate at which it has grown in the past. This quarter, whisper numbers were 16c. Also, I thought that you expeted DELL to miss even the lowered estimates, no? Be honest here ... :-) As for slippery slope, DELL seems to be where CSCO was in 1996. -BGR.
