Which, of course, is the way they have been since 1066 or so, but who's counting!

I presume the Welsh are counting. Actually, Wales was not annexed by the English crown until the late 13th century, under Edward I. It was Edward who started the custom of naming the eldest son of the English King Price of Wales. So Charles's title dates back only to 1300 or so.

P.S. My Latin teacher was terrible! And, believe it or not, I ended up taking over the class -- informally, of course. That meant I did everyone else's homework for them. <gg>
