That was more beautiful than anything in Lady Chatterley's Lover

They say the sea is cold, but the sea contains the hottest blood of all, and the wildest, the most urgent.

The verse in your message, less the last six lines, appears with many other related works in "Whales Alive!" by the Paul Winter Consort. This is sort of a "duet for gray whale and saxophone", with many other interesting arrangements. Leonard Nimoy reads the verse, and does in my opinion a very credible job. Other readings include parts of "Moby Dick". I recommend it.
