Hi Jeff, Walter,
Added this thread to my read list. Have hung out for a couple years on digital video (CUBE), and Fibre channel( ANCR)
threads.

Have the best jogging CD player that skips all the time so I just ordered a Diamond Rio player. Checked out the MP3.com site and
liked the thoughts about it being a better portal than some.
Would consider buying a few shares on the IPO.
When will it go?

"The owner of a Phase 1 device and supporting application may choose not to do so, but that person will not be able to use it for new, SDMI-compliant music. The trigger mechanism will not automatically upgrade the computer application; the individual user will have to choose to upgrade. We believe, however, that virtually all consumers will want to experience new music and new methods of music distribution, and will therefore choose to upgrade to the Phase 2 application."
