To all: comparison of Valence cellphone cell specs (as per 1/99 data sheets) with other lithium-polymer AND li-ion cellphone cell specs (taken from the ETI website)

Comparisons of each brand's 'slim' models in mah/g (milli-amp-hours per gram); multiply by 3.7-3.8 volts to convert to milliwatt-hrs/g (or watt-hours/kg).

Conclusion: Valence beats all those listed.

Caveats:

It is not stated who the manufacturers of these cells are (except note that Matsushita owns Panasonic). Sony and Matsushita lithium-polymer cells not available through ETI. Valence specs may be 'conservative' compared to what they have sampled to customers.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Lithium polymer:

1. Valence startac li-poly 1000mah,6.5mm,27g (model 65M) = 37.03 mah/g

2. Nokia li-poly 1200mah,11mm,41g (for 6110 series) = 29.27 mah/g
3. Samsung li-poly 900mah,8mm,35g (u-slim) = 25.71 mah/g

Lithium-ion:

Panasonic li-ion 900mah,10mm,45g (slim) = 20 mah/g
Samsung li-ion 600mah,8mm,30g (u-slim) = 20 mah/g
Samsung li-ion 900mah,12mm,45g (slim) = 20 mah/g
Nokia li-ion 800-900-1050mah,12.5mm,50g (for 6110 series) = 16-21 mah/g
Motorola startac li-ion 900mah,13mm,55g (slim model) = 16.36 mah/g
Nokia li-ion 550mah,11mm,40g (for 6110 series) = 13.75 mah/g
