No one has been had. All of you are missing the big picture. First, this offering being referred to has NOT yet been done. All of the comments are merely conjecture by a reporter, who might even be in the pockets of the short sellers. Second, even if it were true, the company would be raising $20 million of risk capital. Even if the outstanding number went as high as 15 million shares, we are talking about a management that is looking to build a %500 million company. That means that a stock worth over $30.

And the stuff you are reading about with respect to SEC problems is old news. Did anyone ever stop to consider who the law firm that is representing the company on this financing? It just so happens that it is one of the most prestigious firms in NY - Stroock, Stroock & Levan, and I don't think they would structure a deal that is shady or deal with a shady management group. And the investment banking firm working with them now is a very reputable firm. The fact is that these guys are winners who made shopping.com into something Compaq paid big money for and their track record speaks for itself.
