I read this in my paper today and was highly amused.

Useful phrases when nice won't work anymore

1. I like you. You remind me of when I was young and stupid.
2. Someday, we'll all look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.
3. I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth.
4. I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public.
5. You sound reasonable. Time to up my medication.
6. I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.
7. I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.
and 8. How about never? Is never good for you?

My fav is a toss-up between #4 and #5. I'm really struggling with which I like better...ggg
