And why would the stock split work? FYI: One half-dollar equals two quarters... Either way, fellow investor, you still have 50 cents!

At the present time 121,000,000 shares are outstanding. The authorized number of shares are 195,000,000. No way to split at this time. On May 28th, at the annual meeting, one of the items to be voted on is to increase the authorized shares to 900,000,000. One of the stated purposes of the increase is "stock dividends". Bud :-)
