I expect the price to drop after the split takes place. Hope I'm wrong and you are right. The market will be the judge. Let's see, 234.50 now, so split would be 117.25. Let's say under 115 a week from today. What say you?

How about this for a split play-

Sell half your shares on the day the shares split. Your broker will record the sale at the split adjusted price, but will not record the sale until it "clears" a few days later.

Presto-chango, your 10-99 form will show you took a 50% loss. Pretty nifty tax advantage! (In other words, I did this when LU split, and it screwed up my taxes to no end, trying to get it straight!)

Sheesh. Buy and hold the big blue supertanker.
