I don't think the percentage they own is very important. I see this as the hub of an anti Microsoft alliance. WIND is right in the center of it.

Looks like WIND didn't buy into NCI previously, but bought their browser technology which was created by principals of Netscape. The purchase was in January 1998. The cost was $10 M. That browser is now found in Tornado 2, I believe.

WIND will have even closer ties to Liberate than before and I imagine WIND sees the prospects are good for Liberate. Could also be a defensive move.
