Agreed on the apparently naieve tactic, but some folks (including myself) occasionally use straight buys at market to insure the trade goes through before the close. I only do it if I firmly believe that the stock in question has serious pop potential.

This was received from the head of R&D @ ADAMLAB. I had asked a few questions regarding the problem they encountered with the flash memory, and asked him to comment on e.Digital in general..

The problem was a small software bug that had nothing to do with the memory itself, but rather the way flash memory was reclaimed after it was deleted. Because our application made extensive use of subdirectories we ran into a problem others using a single root directory would not have.

As far as working with e.Digital - It has been a good experience for Adamlab. We have no complaints and would give the folks at e.Digital a solid recommendation.
