Some big NITE holder wrote a lot of May 75 calls while ago when they were going for $10 and above. They can easily kill the rally by selling a few hundred thousand shares a day. Of course, they will buy back after Friday.

Longs can relax. May option holders may as well give up.

Legal? I have no idea. But it goes on all the time. The funniest example was DELL last quarter on the day of expiry. Dell hit a price and the big boys wouldn't let it move up or down for hours. About 20mil traded in the tightest range I ever saw on DELL. Of course it popped right back up on Monday the day after. It's the games the big boys play. Us little peons can do nothing but watch.
