Connections are indeed vital - and I assume they are working diligently on that aspect.

But equally vital is that I think MRVC will be catching this next carrier buying cycle or buildout at the right time.

As the Pluris posts show the need is there in a big way, and the sales job gets easier when you have what prospective customers want.

This is not a good time to be caught behind the curve in product development. ASND beat out CSCO's Stratacom unit by "being there" when the sales opportunities arose in WAN switching - even though Stratacom was the market leader prior to this.

Ask DeeJay or Jack, they were with me on the ASND thread. ASND pulled in about $1.5-$2.0 BILLION during 1998 in GX-550, CBX-500 and other carrier class ATM and F/R switches - and the stock rose from $22 in November 1997 to the levels you see today.

I'm not saying MRVC will do this - just that in the carrier realm, if you have the right products, at the right time, the possibility of winning big exists.
