"The Ranch" - a great name to pick, bigger than a farm. Thanks for the post. I feel good about SUNW staying on top of the trend. Interesting info about the chip design. I got into Mentor Graphics through an early little effort in Venture Capital, wound up with MENT because they bought Silicon Design which we helped finance. Not all that much came out of it, but perhaps their programs are used by SUNW. They seem to have trouble leveraging a pile out of the need to design deep submicron chips. But I am hanging on, had it written off, more or less. Walter in HK.
