Those "bundling" deals are always very hard to explain to customers.
They usually always revert to a simpler pricing plan. (Remember how confusing things were during Banking deregulation?).
AOL has a great opportunity to define all this to its customers.
They can be a potent consumer influencer.

Jay - Good point about what's in the BUNDLE - thanks for reminding me. I referred to that only indirectly in commenting on the cable telephony threat to the RBOC's. Agree that this a crucial point: the more you pack in the bundle, the more AOL as ISP and or "bring your own" portal destination may seem expensive by comparison -- particularly for new subscribers, as opposed to "entrenched" users.

BTW, see the Jubak article for some decidedly "anti-BUNDLING" views. Interesting and definitely worth the read. Part II tomorrow on MSN.
