Cube may be a good fit for Intel. I just think your reading too much into a simple statement. Intel clearly feels the Internet server market is a growth opportunity for Pentiums in the coming years.

If you want to read between the lines, One thing Andy Grove talked about was selling bits instead of atoms, and how Intel was setting up a location in Santa Clara now, and later around the world to carry this out. I suppose one such bit could be a video bit.

Black-Scholes,

So am I. Cube is developing products for streaming video on the web - or at least that's what AB said at the shareholder's meeting.

I'm curious why, if CUBE is really developing such products, they wouldn't just buy SIGM? They'd get their dvd-upgrade kit market share back and streaming video as the icing on the cake. It'd be a pretty cheap buy right now relative to CUBE's size and cash on hand.
