Scumbria,

Re: Intellabees

I suspect some folks are seriously starting to worry.

Several Intel holders have posted that they have dumped Intel recently.

The accelerated price cutting - now in June as well- is not good news.

The increased availibilty of K-3's together with this weeks NEC design win for the k-3 is further bad news and likely to degrade PIII 400/450 pricing further.

The increased visibility on the K7 with even the remote possibility of AMD being able to match (if not beat) Intels highest speed grades is truly bad news.

Overall it seems to me that the downside risk is far greater than the upside risks and I think some of them are figuring it out but most are still in denial - should be fun to see them next quarter.

Regards,

Kash

Re: "The Intelabees are remarkably quiet today. I hope they are enjoying their lunch at Nicolini's. They will have quite a surprise waiting for them."

Some of us are just busy, that's all. FYI, K63-400 down another dollar today to $183. Incidently, I just got my cable modem installed today! Wow!!!
