>>No Dell isn't worthless its just DEAD MONEY!!<<
For the near term maybe, but for a long term investment I would put it up any day against most internet stocks based on risk vs reward.

>>You've got to admit the great days of DELL are over.<<
If you know that for sure, will you pick my lotto numbers today!

>>The PC business has become a commodity business and there's NO POINT holding on to a company who has yet to diversify (like CPQ).<<
Wow, I see CPQ has been performing great over the last 18 months.

>>My motives are simple:<<
So is your thinking, simplistic. Most internet stocks are not a sure thing. If you are a day trader and not holding overnight positions ok, but if you are an investor than you should be very cautious. Outside of AOL, I wouldn't hold any internet co. long term.

>>To spread the word to investors who were told by others on this
thread that DELL was still the great company it used to be.<<
Dell's growth may not be 50%+, but go spread your cock and bull story elsewhere if you think Dell is not a dominant player in the PC world
or internet commerce. Show me any internet company that can boast 18 million dollars a day in revenue. Let alone any profit...
