I'm getting e-mail on INTU, I did mention that INTU was reporting earnings on Monday the 24th, it showing anticipation already and triggered buys today and yesterday. About holding through earnings at this point it is too soon to tell, the uptrend is still new. One thing for certain it is more in line with MACR and NOT an overbought stock like ANF was. I'm pretty bullish on INTU Las earnings quarter I entered INTU and never left until recently which is much the same as with MACR

Charming Shoppes, Inc. will broadcast its quarterly earnings conference call on Thursday, May 20, 1999 at 9:15 AM EDT for those who asked.

JDAS continued to rally in the afternoon and closed strongly, hope others scored.

TECD-a lot of hoopla on this one. Some are saying a takeover at 50 is the rumor. A WSJ article with a large new contract (like CPQ-so who? GE? someone else?) more likely. In any event the tape and fundamentals look good.

How we will trade on the volatility of the 'micro-caps'.

Daytraders only trade in stock that are already volatile and can allow the trader in and out with a decent profit in one day.
Up till today a lot of stocks like WSTF,BBA,IACO,ELTN have been relatively quiet. They move up slowly. The only time they get the daytraders attention is on a day when they make the "most % volume gain" list and/or "largest % gainer list". That is when we get to work..

Of course I would only choose the best of this group, as even for one day we want as little risk as possible and maybe a hold overnight (highly unlikely but possible). I've been tracking them for the last few weeks and they have explosive pops then go down just as explosively. Occasionally there will be a standout like SIGM or BOCI that are really pretty decent stocks.

Its not as risky as holding this 'stock' for 1/2 year or more, but we are only 'answering the calls' of the protagonists that push these stocks on us presumably for longer term holds.

. We get in, and out, hit and run and don't leave a trace behind. ... like a stealthy fox.
