Montgomery received his Master's from the University of Wisconsin, and is with Montgomery, Zukerman Davis, Inc., an Indianapolis based advertising, marketing and public relations firm. He has authored several other books, pamphlets and articles.

How can you balance your goals with the organization's needs and create your own model of success to focus on the future? And, how do you evaluate what you are willing to compromise?
These are the topics that Ray Uloth will cover in this interactive workshop/discussion. First, Mr. Uloth will introduce you to a model for success that is research-based and internationally tested. In addition, he will share some of the successes he has experienced as a result of using this model with executives. Then you will create your definition of success using this tested approach. Roger Breisch spoke at a May luncheon and he was so well-received, we urged him to return for a dinner engagement. Tonight he is going to present an amazing case for changing the way you look at the business world...and your place in it.
Technology, global competition and new theories are forcing organizations to rethink their structure, purpose and their strategies for success. Individual skills also are evolving to keep pace.

Mr. Breisch is co-founder of The Webber Group. The firm specializes in organizational, personal and interpersonal effectiveness. He is frequently invited to speak at conferences across the United States. Roger is a student of the business world, and takes an intriguingly intellectual look at the challenges that occur each day.

Keynote Speaker: Herman Wright, Vice President of Marketing,
United HealthCare of Illinois.
Topic: "The Age-old Match Game: Pairing the Customer to the Right Product"
Drawing from his 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, Mr. Wright will examine the age old problem of what customers think they want versus what they really want or need. He will examine how internal structures and levels in an industry, such as managed care, channel buyers to identify services and products they don't want, which ultimately result in customer dissatisfaction. Mr. Wright's remarks will also include a discussion of how attendees must strategically rethink how they market their products and services to customers. Be ready to ask questions and participate in an interactive marketing exercise.
Mr. Wright joined United HealthCare in 1996 from The MetraHealth Companies, where he was market sales leader in its insurance group. From 1982 to 1995, he was with The Prudential Insurance Company, serving as marketing director of the firm's central Texas managed health care operations for nine years.

Following his 12 years as a noted radio personality and host on "East of Midnight", an all night show on WLS radio, Mr. Weber was in an excellent position to set-up an advertising agency specializing in radio production and advertising in the mature market.

Mr. Quinn Stepan, Jr. is Vice President and General Manager-Surfactants for Stepan Corporation in Northfield. He has been with them for 12 years where he has moved up the ranks to his present position. His education includes an economics degree from Notre Dame University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Holiday Auction
Our annual holiday charity auction is also held tonight. The proceeds from this event provide scholarships for students at Northern Illinois University who are planning sales and marketing careers. In past years we've auctioned off weekend stays at area hotels, theatre tickets, dinner cruises, golf clubs and much more (Click here for a current list of this year's items).
