If you like telecom, WCOM is a good bet. While I feel they are exposed due to their lack of wireless, Bernie is such a wise and schrewd leader, I doubt he will permit a minor flaw from becoming a major one.

For telecom companies, it is wisest to invest in big companies that know how to buy and integrate other telecom companies. WCOM is the best at this so i think it's a must in your portfolio for the long term. I agree with others (and history) that when the day is over, there will be only a handful or so of really huge telecom companies left. WCOM will be one of them and I also think T will be there too. It looks more and more like GBLX will also be left. The next 10 years and going to be very, very interesting.
