Pathetic justification......

If you had a clue how an institutional trade desk works, you wouldn't be so concerned about Cramer's PAIR screw up. When you're trading stocks for a fund you don't go surfing the net for news stories, you have them piped in by Reuters, Bloomberg etc. His buy of PAIR likely came about 2 ways: 1) It's most likely that Cramer would have either seen or been told by his trader that something was up with PAIR (ie - because of a price jump, pickup in bid interest etc.). In such a case, he would then call a broker to ask what's up (remember the bogus story wasn't on the wires anyway). It's quite likely a broker told him there was a PAIR takeout. 2) He could have got a call from a broker spreading the news. In both cases, you don't check the story 10 times to see if its right. Once from a dealer's mouth is ok, then you make the trade. Suggest your criticism is misdirected on that one - should be on the jerk the created the bogus site.

As for the bonds, if I remember right, as of today he's down only a point on the position - tell me how he's so wrong. It's likely more a substitute for cash anyway.
