Report on CNN:MoneyLine covering Steve Case's discussion with FCC Chief Kennard. Really encouraging coverage and commentary from CNN reporter. When asked who will win Steve Case's battle for open cable access, the reporter responded "AOL eventually." Jupiter Communications in response to a question indicated that in the 3-4 years that it sees the cable process developing that we will see open access.

That just could be the broadband strategy for AOL.If it (the browser) configures the needed extra speed at no extra charge then DSL @ Cable are not needed.I can only hope that is the case.That would be a blockbuster.
