Doug, strange, I had $.35 for that quarter, I must have fouled up somewhere. I was using 1.7% and slightly more chips. We'll see. Because of the potential delays we might have, your number is probably closer to reality than mine.

Hi Doug,

to allow us to get things in perspective, in your model you are using an RDRAM chip price of $20. I am assuming that this is the ex-works price. What does an SLDRAM chip cost ex-works? Anyone?

Furthermore, and this maybe a major flaw in your math: the 128Meg RIMM is made up of 8 chips. Is your $20 the price of each chip or the price of the 8?
