Larry:
I expect that you all will owe me big time now that I'm out of BA and the stock will probably soar. The last time I did this, it was Intel which I sold at a slight profit after holding for 1 year. I sold at about $80.00 and within a few weeks, the stock hit $120!

But I don't look back. With Boeing, I bought initially because I sensed an almost monopolistic situation in an industry that we cannot afford to lose. But I felt over the last 12 months that this company was plagued with so many problems, many of which had to do with management philosophy. Having never been a fan of "bigness" in corporate America, although I own Wal-Mart and Disney, I felt that the price of Boeing had reflected the problems and the upside potential was huge. I still somewhat believe that.

Hopefully, things are beginning to turn around for the company. Many years ago I went through a downsizing and it's no fun for any one. Boeing's workers are what made the company and will ultimately save the company.

Good luck to all who own the stock. I may be back someday.
