I have contributed to this thread in various forms. Check it out from the beginning.

I have even posed questions as to why HLTH is an Internet company. No responses.

If you think HLTH+WebMD is worth half the YHOO today, go ahead and invest. It is your money.

You don't have to know the market. You can take guesses. You can predict what will and won't be successful to some extent. A meaningful debate can teach you a lot than to say Health Care industry is a trillion dollar business.

For your information, HLTH is more than 4 yrs old and hasn't made a small dent in the way health business is conducted. Whatever makes you believe it is going to take off in the next month or next year.

HLTH's business is a lot to do with the culture of the healthcare industry than it is to do with the cool Internet.

I agree that HLTH+WebMD is much better than HLTH alone. HLTH wasn't a portal although it was always hyped as one.

Let me know what "significant" things you have to say. As an exercise, post what you think is the role of a portal in the health care industry and what kind of revenues they may be able to generate.

Go thru the exercise. It's worth it and will save you a lot of dollars in the long run.
