I found the article refreshing,

I like the way Juback is able to approach a situation from many angles. He is not a linear/rut thinker.

Bottom line, AOL will get some cable deals, the first one probably with Allen of previous MSFT fame. But the key being he will not have to mortgage the soul of his company to get a piece of paper to wave at many short sighted investors.
