There's a lot of chat on the DELL board about acquisitions using the DELL cash reserve of $4 billion and the new shares to be authorized. Maybe DELL will also copy COMPAQ in making an indigestible acquisition which will hold down its share price for 18 months.

vic--- do not discount a similar possibility by CPQ. They could tie an ISP with AV and a box. When I heard IBM was selling their ISP (the greatest IMO) to Bell South I was disappointed. Bell south now has nationwide contacts now at a very reasonable price..

Do not think these FREEBIES will offer the widgets most of us want (need <gg>). So they get you hooked on a low end while grabbing the advertisment $$ from AV and user fees from the ISP and then sell you the box you really want (need). These boxes will probably be in the 200 range with 32 ram and a small drive...
