A few years ago, when I used AOL, a couple of the executives at Genzyme regularly responded to questions and comments on the AOL GENZ message thread. I was really impressed with their forthright and detailed answers to complicated and challenging comments and questions. Their approach to stockholders (and potential stockholders) was, IMO, a textbook example of an optimum relationship between management and shareholders. I don't know if this is still going on...
