BGR, I am actually recommending Prime 1 money funds to most people who have 401Ks. They will get killed when this bubble bursts. I always thought you were long term. Now you are down to one year measurements? I hope the numbers you quoted did not count the sector funds or the bond funds or the foreign funds or the equity income funds or the balanced funds. They shouldn't as the S&P 500 is not a sensible measure for them or even for most equity funds. It is only a decent measure for those who choose it as a target.
