Jean, my take is that the axe mms in WCEC were mostly indifferent to many of the trades, for some reasons. They were happy to take small profit, rather than making plans to extract maximum profit, whenever possible.

This can change in minutes, of course. Market makers are good professional daytraders with certain advantages over the retail traders, but they are humans as well, influenced by their occasional shifting moods. Though most of the time we can expect them to play the games ruthlessly in the bb arena.
