I agree with you completely.

My guess is that they are praying that the rest of world recovers in time to help the U.S. when we blow. The problem with that "hope" is that there really hasn't been any improvement in Asia expect for the fact they are flooding us with their exports. So one could argue that their economic health is even more dependent on our bubble than before. When the U.S. goes I'm afraid our only hope is Europe.
