Actually I didn't short any banks. If the Feds would have done a rate hike it would have been a different story. The bias change was just enough to scare people temporarily and cause some stops to be hit but nothing to write home about. Even if the US does raise rates it doesn't look like Canada will follow suit...however the US raising rates will hurt the US market which will in turn hurt the banks. I did buy a few PUT contracts yesterday on RY when it rallied on low volume just in case the earnings released tomorrow are worse than people think...I only risk a couple of bucks on the contracts and will cut my losses if the earnings don't kill the stock.
