although Merrill's report is favorable, I think that their $2.75 year 2000 earnings estimate is off the mark. Maybe they want to see QCOM blow away there numbers?

Long-term target of $137 seems low as well, based on their 5-year discounted cash flow model. By long-term, what term do they mean? Certainly, they cannot mean longer than a 12-month period with an accumulate rating and a long-term buy recommendation?
