Yankee Trader,

I would be interested in knowing when Kealy feels they will become a billion dollar company (sales).

PS Picked this up off the Yahoo board while I still had my 15 minutes of edit time.

Spoke with him an hour or so ago. He was gracious and as helpful as he could be. This is the crux of our discussion:

He said that contract announcement(s) will be released but being held up by the other party's law firm who insists on reviewing it...a slow process. IFCI could release contract(s) news without names and we would be able to identify one party easily and the other party with a little work. Seems to imply two contracts doesn't it?

He said the IR firm IS from New York and will be announced as soon as that firm is comfortable. I'm guessing that is why Doug Kimball is there the entire week. Getting them up to speed.

JK said that he is aware of shareholder concerns about price and is befuddled as I (all of us) about the trading price given the financial performance. Is cognizant of forums on the internet. Said his job is to "execute the business plan".

He was deliberately vague on the investment house recommendation stating that there are rules which preclude any type of advance recommendation. They may do a "review" of IFCI but could not make an advance recommendation. Frankly, he lost me the deeper he discussed the topic. Maybe someone can explain the interworkings and legal parameters in this area.

Finally he mentioned the conference in mid-June and expressed his hope everything would be squared away by then. Unfortunately, he called from the airport and caught me in the middle of something. Would have liked to pin him down a little more on specifics and to get his feel for the $200 million revenue for 1999 but time didn't allow either of us. Tried to get as much breadth, rather than depth, of coverage given the time constraints.

I encourage anyone else to contact JK or Doug Kimball, who is calling in daily for messages.

I have to chew a bit on the notion of his job being to execute the business plan but IMO JK was very accomodating and helpful. Just a tad guarded but, there may be good reasons for that.<<<
