This message is off-topic, but what the hell, so were the last four...

I live in an area where cable modems are just a dream and will be for some time. However, in recent weeks I've had my first experiences in connecting via a T-1, and holy shit. I feel like I just fell off the turnip truck.

Now I've just got to convince my company I need one at home....

Craig and thread,

"TURNING A NEW LEAF"

I have been called the SNDK "cheerleader" before and to that I plead guilty. I wish to be absolved of any such labels going forward and will refrain from any undue "pumping" of SNDK, but I certainly do not intend to stop posting here. My focus will be on CF and MMC platforms and how they will help drive the portable computing market forward. There is obvious relevance to SNDK. That goes without saying.

I think we have touched on the strengths and weaknesses of SNDK to date and it is getting a bit old. Isn't it?

For those who have followed the thread for the last year or longer and who are nauseous from the up-and-down ride on the SNDK Ferris wheel...get off now if you are still uncertain. I remain a staunch supporter of SNDK and the products they have are bringing to market.

I am staying with SNDK long term as was my original intention when I placed my first buy order in March of 1998.

For those who have not experienced CF or MMC to date I ask you to go out and try it for yourselves. Hopefully the experience will remove any doubt that remains.

Good luck to SNDK longs.

Ausdauer
