Falconbridge is willing to drift 2 km along the 4700 m level from the Kidd to the Chance deposit if 3 million tonnes of 10%Zn is delineated. Feed to the Kidd smelter is a major priority for them.

Therefore in theory, Cross would only have to come up with 6 million tonnes of the 5% stuff to get Falconbridge interested. The high grade zinc zone currently has a strike length of 500 m, an average width of 9.5m and no defined height, wide open in two directions (possibly three) and indications of opening up with depth. These next round of results will certainly tell if the story is better or worse. Regardless of how the project or company has been managed, this project still attracts market attention for obvious reasons.
