And.,

What do you want? Want to buy in at a lower price? Or want to short the stock? Want to treat it as a school business project? No better things to do than Mr. Schwartz? Want to collect G* satellites as a hobby. Need someone to talk to? No long? No short? Nowhere to go but here? (gg)

Just curious.

Brian H.

...long term growth rate for Globalstar that one major Wall Street firm published (this is once the system is fully up and booked) - a little over 5%, a rate they say a Bell operating company grows at.
Is that crazy? Is this entire business just a big money tree that's making the originators wealthy and making fools of investors?

Yes AMA, that's crazy. The next constellation will cost half the price and handsets will be much less than half the price so growth will be huge. 5% is a joke. Sure, the concept of these systems [same as Eurotunnel] is to act as a money tree for the promoters, but they have to make it attractive and successful to really make money. Iridium failed, though Motorola collected a lot of work on the way. Globalstar will heavily profit Qualcomm and Loral which is fine by me. It will also profit GSTRF shareholders.

Investors need to make sure the promoters are not sucking all the juice out and leaving them nothing. In the case of GSTRF, that isn't the case.

ICO is mostly a make work scheme for Inmarsat Club Members. Investors in that had better be careful. Globalstar [I hope] will cut off their air supply [by discounting and gaining the customers quickly].

Darned if you know? Well, you have to make an educated guess...you either buy or not. Either way, you take a position.

Maurice

Andnothingmoreagain:

Why are you here?

Show me the report that says 120,000 by end 2000. Obviously a misread or a typo, but you would never point that out now would you?
