Greg,

I feel that the future broadband will be with the wireless. That's why QCOM is an important part of the equation. With CDMA as the facto new technology for wireless, AOL should team up with wireless company. I am not sure if QCOM/MSFT joint venture will prevent an alliance with AOL. Infrastructure for wireless is much cheaper than laying cable throught the country. Even developing countries have gine the route of wireless because not only it is more economical, but does not disturb current buildings, street etc.

ATT cable deal is overrated and will take many years at best.

Best regards

Paul

Angel is great for phonecalls and low band data transmission.

However, unless they have figured out or are working on something it is not robust enough to handle broadband in a meaningful way.
