Mrs Hoghead

Unless writing for the very earliest browsers and so ensuring complete backward compatability then there will always be problems for certain users when websites utilise the later features of browsers.

For example when I was running an earlier version of Netscape (4.01 I think) it wouldn't work with IFLY's website - the dates got all screwed up. I contacted them about it and the problem was the that version of Netscape's browser - I think it was the way javascript handled dates - only solution was to upgrade the browser...

I don't know what browser you are running.... I know I still find websites where features don't work for me and my browser... doesn't mean that it doesn't work for a lot of other people.

If you really want to know if the site works or not for most people then either contact their tech support and try to resolve the problem or use another computer and browser...

But just because 5-10% of users find the site not compatible with their browser or have some peculiar tech problem does not mean IFLY will not succeed in unfolding their business plan very effectively.

Whether the site works or not is irrelevant.

Do you connect to the internet via AOL? I hope not.
Do you daytrade stocks with E*Trade? I hope not.
But their stocks have made me TONS of money.
How often do you use theglobe.com, alloy.com, infospace, com, etc... NONE.

All these companies are junk, but as long as they know how to do news releases, and the stocks go in the direction I anticipate, I am hapy.

I am a stock trader, not an investor/analyst.
