If you think AMAT is in for a big drop, then you shouldn't be buying at 60, either. If you think AMAT's moment in the sun is over, and these valuations will still look expensive 5 or 10 years down the road, then you shouldn't be buying for a long term hold at all.

But, if you think we are at the beginning of a 18-24 month cycle that will see AMAT double or triple, the difference between 68 and 60 just isn't that significant.
