Seasonal buying related to India's wedding season, tourism in
Turkey and other factors, is expected to dry up in coming weeks.
This will leave prices at the mercy of funds, who are inclined to
short, anticipating sales from the UK, along with those being
readied by Switzerland and International Monetary Fund, analysts said.
"The only positive thing that might happen is if the U.S. Congress
doesn't permit IMF sales," said the analyst. "That is going to be
our great hope."
