Grant,

I agree, dislodgement would not be a great concern, and Michael made a few assumptions. The F.A.S.T.1 did not appear to be a clear winner, but in the medical field, a slight winner may be good enough. The location, flow rate, and leakage rates were are favorable for Pyng. Now, if Pyng can be first to market, and at a favorable price, then we'll see some action. I'm hoping my date of September 14 isn't too optimistic.

Dan

Grant ... for your information. In designing and developing the F.A.S.T.1, the issues of dislodgement, securing the site, and immunity from outside interference were always one of our top two or three design objectives. No matter what vascular access system you use, the site MUST be secured so it doesnt leak or pull out. Our most valuable patents cover design elements we created to achieve this security and speed. Everything we have heard from users in our primary target market has verified that these were wise and critical choices. Check this out with paramedics. It's of major importance and advantage.
