Ah but you see, in my tangential hubris-filled life of rediscovered stale ideas, I do make a clear distinction between what is mine and what is not mine, regardless of value. For instance, my ideas and opinions, stale though they might appear to an eye trained by hatred of anything that seems of an older generation, are wholly and completely mine, because often I am the one who thought of them, and at least I have checked and rechecked them enough times that they have become integral to and inseparable from me. I really don't care about external opinion.

Oh, and to reference back a bit; if the "ship in the bottle" that is your ideas can't take a little shaking, then it's not very stable. Truth cannot be destroyed, even by the most stalwart of opponents.
